# Speq

> An Israeli marketplace where an organization posts one request and suppliers bid against that same brief. The site is in Hebrew, with an English version at /en.

A request says what is needed, what is required, and when. Suppliers in that field see it and bid. Bids are sealed by default: no supplier sees another supplier's bid or price, and the buyer's identity is revealed only to the supplier they select unless the buyer widens it.

A request is one of three kinds, and every request says which it is, because it decides what suppliers compete on:

- Priced items: a defined need, priced line by line. Twenty identical office chairs.
- Fixed budget: a published budget, and suppliers propose what fits inside it. A staff event for 10,000 NIS.
- Proposal: expertise, where a fee is one line rather than the whole answer. A PR firm for six months.

Posting a request, receiving offers and choosing a supplier cost the buyer nothing. Suppliers browse and ask questions for free; bidding and being listed in the supplier directory need the verified supplier plan, which is 99 NIS a month and free for every verified supplier until 1 January 2027.
