About
Organizations find suppliers, without chasing them
What Speq does
An organization that needs something, from office equipment to a PR firm, posts one request: what is needed, what matters in the decision, and by when. Suppliers in that field see it and bid against that same brief.
Instead of a round of calls with different suppliers ending in a pile of quotes that are hard to compare, there is one request and offers written against it.
What makes it different
Bids are sealed. No supplier sees another supplier's bid or price, and unless the buyer chooses otherwise, does not know another bid exists.
Not every request is decided on price. Some carry a priced specification, some publish a budget and ask suppliers what fits inside it, and some are decided on experience and fit. Every request says which it is.
The buyer's identity is not revealed automatically. By default the name reaches only the supplier they select.
How we make money
Organizations pay nothing. Posting a request, receiving offers and choosing a supplier are free, and choosing is never obliged.
Suppliers pay a flat monthly subscription to bid and to appear in the supplier directory. There is no commission on a deal and no pay-per-lead.
Where we are
Speq operates in Israel, in Hebrew and English, and it is early. The number of requests and suppliers is growing, and we would rather say so than present a different picture.
